The DHS Ventures & Holdings Deputy General Counsel is responsible for providing counsel to senior management on legal rights and obligations. He provides advice on legal and reputational risks and regulatory issues. Individual will effectively manage other attorneys and legal professionals and oversees outside law firms to provide cost-effective legal services. Manages attorneys and other professional staff.

 

Is responsible for the strategic guidance, development and evaluation of employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DHS Ventures & Holdings policies and applicable laws. Performs a wide variety of complex or specialized legal activities to protect the firm’s reputation and business interests and helps ensure DHS Ventures & Holdings complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

 

Establishes legal standards and provides advice to DHS Ventures & Holdings, including the senior management level, regarding legal issues impacting applicable business segments or regions.
